David Spalding was found in his jail cell after hanging himself with a sheet this morning. Attempts to bring around him were unsuccessful reports said. He was taken to Lake Wales Medical Centers where he was pronounced dead at 3:45 am.“There was no indication he wanted to hurt himself,” said Donna Wood a Polk County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman. At 2:16 am this morning during routine medication rounds detention deputies discovered Spalding unresponsive. Wood said. Two other inmates were in the cell with him and were aparently unaware that Spalding had hung himself. Spalding had been placed in protective custody due to his charges. Wood said. “They didn’t see him,” she said. “They were sleeping.”Spalding. 26 was first booked into jail April 6. 2006 on three counts of sexual battery on a child. He sexually battered and impregnated a 14-year-old reports said. Spalding had pleaded guilty and waived jury trial the report said. He was sentenced to six months in confine and 10 years probation in September 2006. He was released in February. He was arrested again Jan. 3 accused of violating his probation by failing to act from his home and admitted to contact with children younger than 18. Both were violations of the conditions of his probation the Sheriff’s Office reported. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an internal analyse and is conducting the death investigation. The Polk County Medical Examiner ordain conduct an autopsy and the State Attorney’s Office ordain review all investigations. The other inmate to hang himself recently was James Mark Garry. 39 who had been arrested on Dec. 23 on charges of setting fire to his ex-wife's duplex. He died after using a cord from a laundry bag to hang himself. He had been in the jail's special needs unit because he had told deputies he had mental problems but he had not been under a suicide watch.

I've got an XP SP2 notebook that is running book. I DO have a clump of applications and services on it. I installed cause to be perceived security/latest beta as of 9/15/07 and now the notebook is useless with it. When I go away the PC it comes up OK to my desktop then hangs within 1-2 minutes. No walk no keyboard no network activity no nothin.' I need to hard-reset the computer to get it to respond again. I don't see any events in the system or application logs. I'm running eset cause to be perceived 3.0.290.0 db 2535No other security/AV/Firewall/etcI am running VMWare host servicesI undergo an Intel 3945AG built-in wireless. I'll be happy to help provide whatever troubleshooting info is needed. I'm thrilled with nod32 enterprise. I'd really desire to have cause to be perceived security as a workable solution too. TIA,Greg C I saw that thread... that's for a "brief" fasten at startup. 2-3 minutes isn't it?I let it sit for 20-30 minutes and there's still no response from mouse/keyboard/display/network. If it's the same issue I'll follow the other thread. Thanks,GC I had the same problem. A clean instal helped. So uninstall ESS. Manually clean all the ESET folders you can sight. Reinstall ESS. This helped for me ____________________________________ Not just using one. Not just using two. I'm testing them all. Just label me the AV tester Thanks for the suggestions... I uninstalled eset manually removed all the ESET reg entries and all is well. My gut tells me the problem was related to one of the ESET Miniport drivers conflicting with either a VMWare or Intel wireless driver. BTW the uninstallation was a hurt. I'd desire see exceed cleanup of the eset miniports during the uninstall. My system was unable to cerebrate to anything until I erased them.-Greg C I evaluate you got lucky cause I did uninstall and lay back and forth- and it didn't back up. Its definitly a miniport thing and intel wireless + eset might be one areaRuben

Windows 98 SE guest consistenly hangs at color screen & non blinking cursor in upper left corner (probably emulated BIOS text mode) when asked to either "alter restart" or restart to MS-DOS mode. The animated VMware logo at upper alter of the toos bar stays fixed. Only reasonable way to acquire from that express seems to be through Troubleshoot... Reset (or PowerOff&Quit) . Player 1.0.1. Interruptible in principle (look at eflags) but in learn does not say the keyboard or mouse (I undergo not looked at the PIC masks in the vmss. Is the vmss change "open" or needs a NDA of sorts ?). HiRunning a FreeBSD 6.2 with mainly MySQL. Apache and PHP (kept up to datewith manual freebsd-update / portupgrade). The hardware is SuperMicro SuperServer 5015MT+ with 2GB of ECC RAM and aIntel Core 2 Quad 6700. Running a BIOS assisted soft reflect with SATAdisks... After aprox 2 weeks the server hangs. There is no dumps at /var/crash as theserver seems to lock up while dumping. Details below - unfortunately I don'talways get a picture of the console as I'm not always the rebooter. There is no hang-related notes i FreeBSD logs and nothing at all in IPMIand BIOS logs. Earlier I had the server running with HTTP evaluate Filters on but then itreboots 4-5 times a day! I've also been running xcache (php accelrator) butthat was disabled during the latest hang.
